Dedicated to preserving and examining standard practices of the past and present, the Museum of Funeral Customs has items and exhibits related to various funeral traditions from many cultures and over the course of centuries. The museum offers displays on many activities focused around death, including everything from past embalming techniques to traditional dress worn during periods of mourning. It is located on the southern edge of the historical Oak Ridge Cemetery, not far from the downtown area.
