Stories of the 16th President's life, from childhood until his death, are brought to life through high-tech exhibits and interactive areas at the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum. Artifacts from the Lincoln's life are combined with representations of historical characters, actors and film documentaries. The nearby library serves as a repository for an extensive array of records pertaining to Illinois history as well as documents about the President. The library and museum are in the downtown area, less than a mile northeast of the Illinois State Capitol building.
Open daily 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Adults $7.50; Seniors (62+), Students and Military $5.50; Children (5-15) $3.50; Children under 5 are free.
