"Barbecue" is a uniquely American food, with many regional variations. There's the sweet southern barbecue of Mississippi and Alabama, Kansas City-style pit barbecue and the famous Memphis barbecue, to name a few. Hickory River Smokehouse serves real Texas barbecue, in the tradition of the legendary smokehouses of the Lone Star state. In our on-premise smokehouse, we apply our special blend of seasonings (known as "dry rub") to the highest quality beef brisket, chicken, turkey and pork.

BBQ Pulled Beef

I usually get the BBQ pulled beef by the lb. at Hickory Rivers. It is pretty good with the mixed bbq sauce. The drive through is usually pretty fast, and the food is always hot.
